Karrin for Arizona amasses $3 million war chest for campaign ahead
Nearly 16,000 (15,936) individual donors contributed a total of $3.7 million to the Karrin for Arizona campaign in 2021. Both are Arizona records for a gubernatorial campaign at this stage of the race.
A life-long conservative and small-business owner seeking the GOP nomination for Governor, Karrin Taylor Robson matched the contributions made by campaign supporters. The campaign maintains $3 million in cash-on-hand.
“I am humbled and energized by the number of people who are invested in my campaign, and I’m equally invested in our grassroots campaign for Arizona’s future,” Taylor Robson said. “What this report demonstrates is we will have the resources necessary to reach every Arizona household and compete for every vote. I look forward to bringing our conservative, Arizona First message to all corners of our state in the weeks and months ahead.”
Among all donations to the Karrin for Arizona campaign, over 86% were for an amount of $25 or less, and 87% of contributions were made by Arizona residents.
“The Radical Left will spare no expense in its bid to turn Arizona blue,” said Debbie Moak, Finance Committee co-chairwoman for the Karrin for Arizona campaign. “We need a candidate like Karrin Taylor Robson, who has the resources and conservative track record to stop liberal Katie Hobbs and lead on Day One.”
“Make no mistake, this is a massive fundraising haul – and most impressive is the record-breaking number of individual donations,” said Paul Gilbert, Finance Committee co-chairman for the Karrin for Arizona campaign. “This campaign will be a marathon, and Karrin is demonstrating she will have the staying power required to win in 2022.”
