1st spot – titled “Broken Border” – begins airing statewide today
Jan. 18, 2022
The Karrin for Arizona campaign is pleased to announce the launch of its first statewide advertising effort. The 30-second spot – titled “Broken Border” – features Karrin Taylor Robson during her visit to the border in Yuma and footage captured of illegal immigrants streaming into the country as cameras rolled.
The spot will air statewide across cable and broadcast television, as well as digital/online. Taylor Robson is the first candidate for Arizona Governor to hit televised airwaves this cycle.
“There is no bigger issue facing Arizona than our broken southern border, and I will have no higher priority as Governor than to bring the chaos and dysfunction under control,” Taylor Robson said. “I know I’m the conservative outsider in this race, so I look forward to introducing myself to Arizona voters and sharing my vision for our state as someone ready to lead on Day One. We will reach every Arizona household, compete for every voter’s support … and we will win in 2022.”
The beginning of Karrin for Arizona’s televised effort immediately follows the release of fundraising reports Saturday that show Taylor Robson significantly outraised her GOP rivals and is best positioned for the next 10 months. Taylor Robson raised a total of $3.7 million from nearly 16,000 individual donors, and has compiled a campaign war chest of nearly $3 million. By comparison, Kari Lake raised from 9,000 donors only $1.4 million – of which she has already spent all but $375,000.
