Karrin Taylor Robson: Mr. President, lead or resign

“Today’s bloodshed in Afghanistan, the deadliest attack on U.S. service members in at least a  decade, makes clear the true cost of Joe Biden’s weakness.

“His weakness led him to make the fatal mistake of withdrawing armed forces before American  citizens and allies were safely out of harm’s way.

“His weakness resulted in our military being forced to abandon on the battlefield billions of  dollars in weaponry and assets, sure to be used against us in the future.

“His weakness stranded untold numbers of Americans in a hostile land, emboldened our  enemies and set the stage for today’s horrific attacks that have murdered or maimed at least a  dozen U.S. service members and countless Afghans and others attempting to flee.

“I fear we have not yet paid the full price of Biden’s failed leadership. As Afghanistan has been  overrun, its prisons were emptied of thousands of fighters for ISIS and al Qaeda. They remain  committed to striking the U.S. on our own soil, and our southern border is a swinging door.

“Thanks to this administration, tens of thousands of illegal immigrants each week are ushered  into our country with a citation to appear at a distant court hearing or – in many cases – nothing  at all. How many jihadis will next attempt to blend in among them? How many would it take to,  as on 9/11, bring our nation to its knees?

“Today, we are seeing the deadly consequence of weakness in the White House. If Joe Biden will  not lead, he must resign.”
